CloseThe Bukowski Bears Lenka Blankie is a bunny security blanket made for the smallest hands in the family. Lenka has a plush bunny head, two little arms, and long floppy ears on top of a velvety blanket body that is easy to grab, hold, and carry from room to room. She is designed in Sweden by a family-run plush maker that has been hand-sewing sweet, expressive animals since 1990. Comes with a gift box.
A quick note on color, because screens do not do Lenka justice. In photos she often looks pink all over. In person, her head and blanket are a warm light brown, close to oatmeal or a milky latte. The pink shows up only in the details: pale pink and cream ear linings, paws, and blanket trim, a gauzy pink bow by her ear, and an embroidered rosy nose. The result is a soft neutral that works in almost any nursery and feels a little more timeless than an all-pink baby gift.
Compared with a traditional stuffed animal, a blankie style lovey is flatter, lighter, and much easier for a baby to hold. Lenka's plush is smooth against the skin, her long ears are just right for little fingers to rub, and her blanket body tucks easily into a diaper bag or stroller. She is a comforting companion for supervised snuggles, story time, car rides, and days away from home.
