Trovelore Handmade Fly Amanita Mushroom Brooch Pin – A Relic of the Forest

by Trovelore

“In the quiet understory, magic grows where patience lives.”

The Fly Amanita Mushroom Brooch Pin is a spellbinding tribute to mystery, folklore, and the hidden intelligence of nature. Long associated with myth, transformation, and ancient forest symbolism, the fly amanita is reimagined here as a luminous textile talisman—whimsical, powerful, and richly storied.

Handcrafted by skilled artisans in India, this brooch is constructed from layered cotton and felt, then meticulously embroidered with vibrant threads, hand-applied sequins, and seed beads. The iconic red cap and pale markings are rendered with jewel-like intensity, capturing the mushroom’s surreal beauty and folkloric presence. Each stitch honors the quiet magic of slow craft and the reverence Trovelore holds for the natural world.

This piece is not merely decorative—it is enchanted. A symbol of curiosity, transformation, and the worlds that exist just beneath the surface.

Artisan Alchemy

  • Botanical Precision: Cap, stem, and markings embroidered with storybook accuracy
  • Iridescent Detailing: Sequins and beads echo dew and dappled forest light
  • Ethical Craftsmanship: Produced in small batches by artisan partners
  • Convertible Wear: Optional bail (sold separately) allows transformation into a pendant
  • Heirloom Presentation: Arrives in Trovelore’s embossed keepsake box

Why the Fly Amanita Endures

  • Symbol of Mystery: Represents magic, transformation, and altered perception
  • Museum-Worthy Craft: Approximately 18–22 hours of hand embroidery per piece
  • Artisan Legacy: Supports women-led, ethical, small-batch production
  • Dual Purpose: Wear as a brooch or display as collectible textile art

Styling Your Forest Talisman

  • Folklore Modernized: Pin to coats, cardigans, or wool blazers
  • Whimsical Edge: Style on denim jackets, scarves, or felt hats
  • Neckline Enchantment: Convert to necklace for storybook elegance
  • Collector’s Display: Frame or pin as textile art when not worn

The Handmade Imperative

No two Fly Amanita Mushrooms are identical. Each piece bears the unmistakable mark of human hands:

  • Subtle variation in cap patterning
  • Gentle asymmetry in bead placement
  • Natural tonal shifts in red and ivory threads

These nuances are not imperfections—they are proof of intention, authenticity, and devotion to craft.

Limited Foraging

Produced in small batches of 10–15 pieces to honor slow fashion and preserve artisanal integrity. Once this harvest is complete, the exact expression may never be recreated.
