CloseOur Atelier Skirt was inspired by memory and made for daydreams. This piece began with an antique French skirt we discovered at a sunlit flea market, and we fell in love with it instantly. We reimagined the silhouette with our own signature details and wove in a new story, one built around wildflowers, whimsy, and the quiet romance of a slower season.
The flowing shape features a soft flounce inspired by wildflowers from childhood, including white fawn lilies, trumpet honeysuckle, and chocolate lilies, all designed to move like petals in the breeze with every step. Delicate ties along the hem can be worn loose for an easy bohemian feel or knotted into bows for a touch of French romance. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring gives an easy, flattering fit across a range of sizes and body types. And yes, this skirt has pockets.
The Love Language Atelier Skirt is crafted from our signature custom woven wood and bamboo viscose. It drapes beautifully, feels light and soft against the skin, and moves with an effortless, airy quality that makes it just as lovely for a morning coffee run as it is for an evening out.
Pair it with a simple tank and your favorite boots for an easy daytime look, or dress it up with turquoise jewelry and a tucked in blouse for something a little more special. This is a piece meant to be worn again and again, season after season, and to become a little more like an heirloom every time you reach for it.
Joyful flowers, whimsical declarations of the heart, and unapologetic hope. This is our love language.
The original artwork used in this print was hand-drawn in Pennsylvania in 1854. We reworked the imagery and added our own touches, including the heart in hand symbol, which has long represented kindness and charity, along with messages set in historic fonts to complement the original hand lettering. The result is a true original, romantic and bohemian with a story behind every fold.
The S/M fits approximately sizes 4 to 10. The L/XL fits approximately sizes 12 to 16. Full garment measurements to follow.
The elastic waistband with adjustable drawstring allows for a comfortable, forgiving fit, so if you fall between sizes or prefer a more relaxed feel, we recommend sizing up.
